I'm Martin Strandholm, running Strandholm IT from Hudiksvall, Sweden. With over 17 years of experience from companies like Volvo, Stena, SKF, and Essity, I help schools and small businesses get enterprise-grade IT without the enterprise price tag.
Background
I've built my career in IT infrastructure at some of Sweden's most demanding companies. At Volvo IT, I was part of the Global Windows Server Team for five years, handling advanced troubleshooting and infrastructure across a worldwide organization. At Stena AB, I held a dual role as Senior Infrastructure Specialist and Senior Information Security Consultant for four years — responsible for both infrastructure and IT security. I then led IT security projects at SKF Group as IT Security Project Manager. Today, I work as Senior Infrastructure Project Manager at Essity, a global company with 36,000 employees, where I lead global infrastructure projects combining traditional project management with agile methodologies.
Technical Expertise
15 years with Önums Friskola
Since 2010, I've been responsible for IT at Önums Friskola. What started as a favor has become a full managed IT engagement with servers, backup, Microsoft 365, and security. Önums is proof that my model works — and the inspiration for Strandholm Consulting.

Strandholm IT is more than a one-person operation. In addition to me, we have a network of affiliated subconsultants and junior developers working on a project basis.
